Since he was a child, Percy Marshall has lived in northern Alabama, eastern Kentucky, southern West Virginia, and longest of all, Cincinnati, where he moved in 1942. But he still thinks of the little town of Blanche, Tennessee, where he was born more than eighty years ago, as home.
"I think of home, Tennessee is my home. I think of that still being home. But when you get a job in another place you go there, maybe make a good living there and buy a house. But if I had to choose a place to go, I could go back down home, oh yeah. I could live there comfortable."
