Jody Knoop

My name is Jody Knoop. And right now I live on Nine Mile Road in Cincinnati, Ohio. And I grew up just up the road on Lucas Corner, a hill that was my grandparents and my great-grandparents. And I live on the bottom seven acres of the farm.

The mountains and Kentucky and the people that I grew up around, [Appalachia] didn't have much to do with my family because we weren't from those roots. But, you kind of know, when there's a culture around you, there are certain kinds of people.

My music family is very dear to my heart.
