Debbie Hensley

My name is Debbie Hensley and I'm from Cincinnati, Ohio, and I'm here today at the Appalachian Festival with my husband, Isaac Hensley.

We've been married 47 years. I was born in Corbin, Kentucky.

I was told by my dad, that my grandpa was a preacher in Harlan, Kentucky. He died from a snake bite.

I've had family in the coal mines. It's a long way we've come a long way since, of course.

What I say all the time: I'm not about money.
